Criss Onan is looking for his next gig.
Onan most recently was with Broadcast Electronics; he said his relationship with the firm ended last week.
“I was Broadcast Electronics’ first AudioVault sales hire in 1993,” he told Radio World. “That was just as the company’s second-generation AV systems were being introduced. My first day of work was the first day of an NAB Show.” He was most recently a senior regional account manager. The company did not respond to a request for comment.
Before BE, Onan was sales manager for broadcast equipment distributor Northeast Broadcast Lab; this followed work as a radio station engineer, operations and general management work. He got his first radio job at age 17 at WFLR(AM/FM), Dundee, N.Y.
Onan hopes to find a broadcast technical sales or sales support position with an established company as well as explore new broadcast ventures. Reach him at: conan1@rochester.rr.com
