Cronkite School Uses Clear-Com

New journalism facility opened in Phoenix this summer.

The new Walter Cronkite School of Journalism on Arizona State University’s Phoenix campus is using a Clear-Com intercom system.

The school opened in August. Clear-Com said its system is the main communications hub for the print and broadcast news operation. Some of the gear was donated.

The school is linked via Eclipse Digital Matrix frames with V-Series user panels and a CellCom digital wireless intercom system. Clear-Com technical staff will visit the school periodically to teach students how to use its products.

Jim Dove is the school’s chief broadcast engineer.
