They got their crossing guard at Bleigh Ave. and Walker St. Beasley station WRDW(FM) in Philadelphia staffed a busy intersection until a school crossing guard could be found. The station now says the city has hired a permanent school guard for the intersection. Station staff worked for three days at the corner after a story in the Philadelphia Daily News brought attention to the safety of students at Edwin Forrest Elementary School.
