Cumulus Moves Bo Brown to Beaumont

Also names Tillotson as ops manager and PD for Pensacola stations

Cumulus Media has tapped Bo Brown to serve as vice president/market manager for its Beaumont, Texas, stations. The company also named Greg Tillotson as operations manager for its Pensacola, Fla., radio stations, where he will also serve as program director for WMEZ(FM), WJTQ(FM) and WCOA(AM).

Brown will now manage KAYD(FM), KIKR(AM), KBED(AM), KQXY(FM) and KTCX(FM).

In his new role, Brown will return to where he began his radio career in 1992, working as an account executive/sales manager for Petracom Broadcasting. He also had a stint as was director of sales for Cumulus Beaumont from 1997–99.

Brown most recently was senior director for Rhino Marketing in Houston. Prior to that, he was general sales manager for CBS Radio in Houston and also held the role of VP/director of sales for iHeartMedia Houston’s radio stations.

Tillotson joins Cumulus from Mapleton Communications, where he was station manager/operations manager/PD for its three-station cluster in Spokane, Wash. Prior to that, he held positions including: brand manager, marketing and promotions and assistant operations manager for TownSquare Media in Billings, Mont. He also was group program director and IT director for Alaska Broadcast Communications’ nine stations in southeast Alaska and seven stations in Texarkana, Ark./Texas.

The Cumulus Pensacola cluster consists of WMEZ(FM), WJTQ(FM), WCOA(AM), WXBM(FM) and WRRX(FM).
