Cumulus Media last week named Brian Egan executive producer of nationally syndicated “Nash Nights Live.”
The country music and lifestyle show features hosts Shawn Parr, Elaina Smith and Associate Producer Ryan Kershner; it airs live from Nashville weeknights from 7 p.m. to midnight. “Nash Nights Live” is produced at Cumulus’ Nash Campus and features artist guests, caller and fan interaction and live remotes. The show is heard right now on about 110 stations. This is a newly created position, a spokeswoman told Radio World.
Egan moves to Nashville from Charleston, W.Va., where he was PD and morning personality for country-formatted WKWS(FM). He was co-host of the “Ben & Brian Show” at KMLE(FM) in Phoenix and at WMZQ(FM) in Washington.
The announcement was made by Cumulus SVP of Programming Mike McVay.
The new Nash music/lifestyle brand targets country fans through radio short and long-form programming, a magazine, events and Nash TV.
