Holly Paras
Cumulus Media has promoted Holly Paras to vice president/market manager for Cumulus Media Providence, R.I.’s five-station cluster.
Paras was previously director of sales for the cluster for a decade and prior to that, she was national sales manager for WHJY(FM), WSNE(FM) and WWBB(FM), also in Providence, and she was also an account executive for Katz Radio Group in New York City.
Additionally, the company has upped Rick Hendrick to operations manager for its six-station cluster in Montgomery, Ala.; he will retain his responsibilities as program director of WXFX(FM).
And effective Sept. 19, Greg Thomas will join the Montgomery cluster as PD for WLWI(FM), and Joe Hunk will join as PD of WMSP(AM) Sports and WLWI(AM). Hunk will also be on-air as afternoon drive host on WMSP, replacing the syndicated “The Doug Gottlieb Show.” Thomas has spent the past 14 years as the ops manager of Townsquare Media’ s five-station cluster in Tuscaloosa, Ala., while Hunk joins Cumulus from WJOX(FM) in Birmingham, Ala.
