Cumulus Media has promoted Donna Baker to Midwest Regional vice president, and Peter Bowen has been named VP/market manager for Cumulus Chicago in her stead.
According to a release, prior to serving as Chicago’s VP/market manager, Baker held that role for the company’s Houston and Kansas City stations. As Midwest Regional VP, she will oversee Cumulus’ station operations in Kansas City, Minneapolis and Des Moines, Iowa. She will be based in Kansas City.
“I appreciate the opportunity Cumulus has given me to grow within the company to the next level of leadership as RVP,” Baker was quoted in the announcement.
Bowen comes to Cumulus from CBS Radio. At CBS Radio, he served as senior vice president and director of sales for the Los Angeles cluster. He worked for the company for 16 years, including stints as SVP/GM for WBBM(FM) and WJMK(FM) and as VP/ director of sales for Chicago.
