Cumulus Media is joining the traffic reporting service provider club.
Right Now Traffic will be the name of the offering; it starts in April. According to a release the service initially will be used by Cumulus Media stations in the top 75 markets. It will, however, also be made available to non-Cumulus stations. The service provides information for a local traffic reporter.
The information behind the service will be provided by Radiate Media. Radiate’s traffic information service comes from state and other departments of transportation along with Navteq.
