Cumulus’ Streaming Numbers Look Good

Triton Digital’s Webcast Metrics shows time spent listening increased by 3%

The Cumulus Media streaming network saw a noteworthy bump its streaming audience over the past year.

According to the Triton Digital May 2016 Top 20 Ranker, the average active sessions on that network increased by 10% year over year. Also up was the number of session starts (by 13%) and time spent listening increased by 3% — higher than iHeartRadio and pureplay streamers Pandora and Spotify.

This study from Webcast Metrics covers May 2015 versus May 2016, Monday through Sunday, 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
