Cumulus Toledo Intern Receives Shock at Car Dealer Remote

A 18-year-old intern with Toledo, Ohio, FM WXKR was setting up for a remote broadcast on Saturday morning when his truck “became electrified by high voltage,” according to WTVG(TV).
Cumulus, which owns WXKR, stated in a press release that Tyler Thomas was setting up for a remote at a car dealership when the antenna mast on his truck raised and hit electrical wires. He touched the truck and received a shock. He was listed in fair condition the next day at Toledo Hospital.
