Cumulus Ups Davis to Newly Created Position

He will be national director of Stratus Music Scheduling

Cumulus Media says that Jeff Davis has been promoted to the newly created position of national director of Stratus Music Scheduling. In addition to this new role, he will continue to program WQSM(FM) for Cumulus.

As part of his 26-year radio career, Davis has been with Cumulus for over eight years as program director of WQSM(FM) in Fayetteville, N.C. He has also been music director for KBBY(FM) in Ventura, Calif. He also has knowledge of the company’s proprietary Stratus Music Scheduling System, used at more than 450 radio stations in 89 markets across the U.S.

Since joining Cumulus, Davis has worked with Emily Boldon, corporate program director and vice president of Stratus Music Programming, to develop and improve each Stratus upgrade as a Beta tester before they were rolled out nationwide.

Cumulus Media provides exclusive content distributed through approximately 460 owned-and-operated stations in 90 U.S. media markets, more than 9,000 broadcast radio affiliates and numerous digital clients.
