Cumulus Media has promoted Dayton Kane to operations manager and program director of WPKR(FM) and WWWX(FM) in Appleton and Oshkosh, Wis. Also, Cumulus has named Pete Mundo as assistant program director and morning on-air host for KCMO(AM/FM) in Kansas City, Mo., and the Detroit cluster has added the role of music director for WDVD(FM)’s Jessica Tyler.
Kane moved there from Green Bay, Wis., where he has been PD of Cumulus’ WKRU(FM) and WOGB(FM).

Pete Mundo started his radio career at KWOX/KMZE in Woodward, Okla., and was ultimately named news and sports director for the stations. He was sports and news director for Omni Media Group in Woodward, Okla. His move from the Midwest to New York in 2013 included opportunities with WCBS(AM), CBS Sports Radio and WFAN(AM/FM) as a freelance anchor and host. During his time in New York, he has hosted national shows on Fox News Radio and CBS Sports Radio Network.
Jessica Tyler also serves Cumulus Detroit as assistant PD and music director for WDRQ(FM). Tyler joined Cumulus Detroit in December, after holding programming posts in Louisville, Ky.; Providence, R.I.; New Haven, Conn.; and Springfield, Mass.
