Northwestern College & Radio in St. Paul, Minn., will inaugurate Dr. Alan S. Cureton as its eighth president on Sept. 13. Cureton is former VP for university advancement at John Brown University. He has held posts at Sterling College, Iowa State University and Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Northwestern College & Radio is a nondenominational Christian liberal arts college. Northwestern Radio, a “media ministry” of the college, consists of 13 Christian AM/FM radio stations in Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin and Florida. The SkyLight and Sky2 satellite networks are carried on 300 stations. LifeNet.FM is an Internet contemporary Christian music station. Roger Cross, president of Youth for Christ America, will deliver the inaugural address.
