The Joslyn TransEnd surge suppression system, new from Current Technology, is designed to protect facilities and equipment against lightning damage and surge-induced degradation.
The metal oxide varistor-based protectors are available in low-voltage AC configurations with surge current capacities ranging from 25 KA to 100 KA per mode.
The components are bolted to copper bus bars, lowering system impedance and clamping voltage.
