The United States isn’t the only country wondering where digital radio is going. DAB is among the topics at the annual convention of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, to be held in Vancouver, Oct. 20-22. The theme is “Broadcasting 2002: Leadership through Public Service.” Session topics include copyright issues, cultural diversity, building a talk radio audience, digital television and what “pay for play” means to Canadian broadcasters. Don Tapscott, co-founder of Digital 4Sight, is slated to keynote. Info: www.cab-acr.ca.
