D&R Electronica, a Dutch maker of digital consoles and audio networking products, recently placed an Axum digital console and networking system into a new mobile radio studio for Showbizz, a Netherlands-based OB company.
Working with techs from D&R and broadcast equipment integrator Niehoff Sound en Light, the 20-fader Axum system was customized to meet Showbizz’s requirements.

Customized features included automated mic channel activation and autofading; encoder control of channel input selection and controllable console height.
