V2.0 software for the Broadcast Electronics (BE) IDi 20 HD Radio importer unit enhances the dashboard-like graphic user interface.
The dashboard features bitrate “tachometers” in addition to on-console audio level and other controls for the management of multiple program channels.
The V2.0 upgrade improves performance by providing robust networking and expanded audio buffer and thus increasing the flexibility and reliability of the HD Radio importer in the delivery of multiple HD Radio channels.
With V2.0 it is also possible to re-allocate channel bitrates on the fly, without needing to reboot importer/exporter pairs when changing audio bitrates, for example. The software release is available as a free upgrade to all BE IDi 20 customers.
