DataPath Inc. completed its acquisition of SWE-DISH Satellite Systems AB, which makes portable and transportable satellite communications systems.
The buyer is a provider of satellite and wireless communications networks. SWE-DISH customers include U.S. military organizations and broadcasters and defense ministries in other countries.
DataPath is based in Duluth, Ga. SWE-DISH, out of Sweden, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of DataPath and will retain its management team, corporate name and product brands. Its U.S. base is in Reston, Va.
