David Gorman’s Funeral Is Set for Saturday

Engineer co-founded Phasetek

Consulting engineer David C. Gorman died Sunday, Aug. 16, according to his son Kurt and colleagues. He was 78.

David Gorman, along with his son and Matthew Nelson, founded Phasetek in 1990 in Quakertown, Pa. The company manufactures AM phasing and branching gear, antenna tuning units, multiplexers and associated RF components.

Gorman was vice president of sales for the company. Kurt Gorman is its president.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, 9:30 to 11 am at C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, 821 West Broad Street in Quakertown. A service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

A get-together in honor of Dave Gorman will be held immediately after the service at Phasetek, 550 California Road, Unit 11, Quakertown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
