Clear Channel’s Darren Davis, senior VP and general manager of national programming platforms, has been promoted to executive vice president of national programming platforms.
He will continue to report to President of National Programming Platforms Tom Poleman.
A release said Davis will work with Poleman to oversee all aspects the division and ongoing development and execution of Clear Channel’s national advertising and programming integrations. Furthermore, “He will continue to manage the Programming Operations Center; the Brand Management in-house format team; and the company’s highly effective Premium Choice network, which imports and exports programming innovation and excellence from station to station providing the highest quality research, talent and programming otherwise unavailable.”
Davis has worked for Clear Channel in Chicago, Detroit and Washington, serving as a regional vice president of programming in Chicago and Detroit. He also worked as a senior vice president for programming.
Poleman said Davis “has been instrumental in transforming everything from our systems of communication to the way we maximize our best programming assets.”
