DaySequerra announced the sale of its 1000th HD Radio monitor.

According to the most recent figures from Ibiquity, there are 1,218 HD Radio stations on the air in the United States.

The manufacturer sold the unit to Vermont Public Radio in Burlington, which ordered the new Model M4.2R. Vermont Public Radio also has DaySequerra M2.2 and M4.0 units.

Rich Parker is Vermont Public Radio director of engineering. VPR will use it to monitor WVPS(FM), 107.9, broadcasting HD Radio with two multicast channels.
