dcsTools XChange Converts Audio Files to Computer Concepts Formats

dcsTools.com, which makes enhancement products for Computer Concepts’ DCS and Maestro systems, is offering XChange, a Windows-based custom audio file converter.
XChange converts audio file formats such as MPEG-3, MPEG-2 and WAV to Computer Concepts’ audio file formats. Converted files can be saved as linear PCM, apt-X or MPEG-2 digital audio files.
XChange includes a cart editor for auditioning source audio and editing the converted audio length, AUX mark and description information, including start and end dates and workstation distribution. Source audio files can be converted singly or in batches; support for creation of multi-cut cards is included. Converted files adhere to the version 1.3 audio file specifications.
Converted files can be targeted to a Computer Concepts Audio Central Plus server for insertion in the system inventory.
XChange requires a Windows-based PC running Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000 Pro or XP, equipped with a standard sound card.
