Decapitated Man Worked on Broadcast Towers

Decapitated Man Worked on Broadcast Towers

There’s a broadcast connection with the businessman who was beheaded in Iraq. Nick Berg, 26, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, worked on towers for several stations in the Washington area. He owned Prometheus Methods Tower Service Inc.
Ed Bukont of Baltimore-based Comm-Struction and Services, said Berg also helped to establish LPFMs in Africa. Some of the broadcast tower work Berg did was for Bukont, who called Berg, “a real prince, one of the nicest decent guys you could ever meet.”
Associated Press reported that a video posted on an al Qaeda-linked Web site showed Berg being decapitated. It said an al Qaeda-affiliated group carried out the execution to avenge the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers.
