Dial Global Hires Furman

New chief revenue officer comes from Insignia Sports/Entertainment

Dial Global announced that Ronald Furman will join the company as chief revenue officer. He will be based in New York City and will report to CEO Paul Caine.

Furman joins the company from Insignia Sports/Entertainment, where he served as executive vice president and managing director. While there, Furman led the go-to-market strategies across integrated television, digital, mobile, technology, social, event, live game and activation platforms for content properties, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the NFL Alumni Association, various NFL teams and emerging leagues such as WSOF/MMA.

According to a release, Furman has designed and managed multiple network sales teams, including sales and operations planning. While a senior vice president of sports sales at Comcast/NBC Universal, he integrated and managed cross-platform sales and marketing teams. Furman also held senior vice president positions at the NFL, Viacom and Univision Communications. He remains an advisor to Insignia as new sports and entertainment platforms are developed for sponsorship.
