Livio Radio and Dice Electronics are teaming up to integrate Internet radio with consumers’ in-dash audio systems.
Dice manufactures electrical components that connect smartphones to factory stereos and integrate them with their settings. Livio has developed the Livio Radio Car Internet Radio App which, when installed on smartphones connected to the Dice components, provides Internet radio access using factory stereo buttons and integrated audio controls on the steering wheel.
Consumers need an iPhone or Android device to use the Dice in-vehicle product featuring the Livio Radio Car Internet Radio App.
The product will be unveiled next week at CES, with a price yet to be announced.
