Only those in attendance at Dielectric’s annual Engineering Executive Conference knows if anyone was called “daddio” or anyone heeded the call that “surf’s up” in the chilly Maine waters at the Marriott Sable Oaks resort in Maine. Was Dick Dale in town?
Between July 14 and 16, a variety of radio and TV engineers gathered to hear tech lectures, meet and hear from reps from Harris, JVC/Kenwood, Stainless, Cox Media Group and Sinclair Broadcast Group. This was the first year the event included television content.
A tour of the Dielectric antenna production facilities was also on the schedule. There was no word if anyone broke out a guitar for a sing-along at the annual Dielectric lobster bake.
