Dielectric Communications named Federico d’Avis as sales manager for Latin America. He will coordinate sales in the region for television, radio and MobileMedia antenna systems.
Dielectric President Garrett VanAtta described this as “a pivotal time in the Latin American broadcasting industry, with a lot of momentum and resources going toward building new broadcasting networks and in particular toward pursuing MobileMedia transmissions.”
d’Avis has a background in sales management in the region; he was a sales manager for Latin America with Radio Waves Inc., a manufacturer of microwave antennas. He held a similar post with Gabriel Electronics, and had general management and accounting roles at Enid Trading and Marketing, The Haley Corp. and Club Universe/Unitour.
