Digidesign used the AES show to promote Pro Tools 7 software. It said the software, not yet shipping, includes “significantly expanded” MIDI and audio recording and editing capabilities, greater mixing power and flexibility, enhanced efficiency, and improved ease of use.
Also available are two new Pro Tools 7 Software Upgrade PLUS options for Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools LE systems. These enable existing users to upgrade to Pro Tools 7 software and receive two additional plug-ins. The Upgrade PLUS options are available until Dec. 20.
