Digidesign is shipping the Digi 002, a FireWire Mini Studio with an integrated control surface. Features of this project-studio product include FireWire connectivity, touch-sensitive control surface, 24-bit clarity and up to 96 kHz sample rate support, and Pro Tools LE 5.3.2 software for Windows (XP Home) and Macintosh (Mac OS 9.x). Provided are eight analog inputs including four mic preamps with HPF, 48V and variable gain; and eight analog outputs plus separate monitor and headphone.
