Digigram has developed new versions of its VX and PCX multichannel soundcards.
The cards offer high-resolution audio, a choice of PCI or PCI Express bus formats, Microsoft-signed drivers for easy deployment and Visiblu-ready features. By developing a single platform, Digigram says it has improved its manufacturing processes and been able to achieve better economies of scale.
Specifically, Digigram introduced the VX822HR PCI and the VX822e PCI Express multichannel soundcards at BroadcastAsia in Singapore. The cards are designed for broadcast applications such as live-assist, permanent and multichannel playback.
In addition, for applications such as automated recording and playout, multichannel production and all applications requiring two stereo I/Os, Digigram has introduced the VX442e multichannel soundcard. And for such tasks as auto-recording and archiving, Digigram offers the new PCX440HR and PCX440e soundcards, which provide four analog inputs and outputs.
