Digigram to Debut Products at InfoComm; Announces First EtherSound Licensee

At InfoComm 2002 Digigram plans to release several products and announce that the company has a new licensee in Japan.

Fostex Japan recently signed a contract to license Digigram’s patent-pending EtherSound technology in their forthcoming products. Fostex is the first company to adopt the new technology.

EtherSound is a technology for audio distribution over standard Ethernet. It helps established technologies create audio networks using Ethernet cabling and components. Sixty-four channels of 24-bit digital audio, plus control information, may be transported to any number of destinations. Digigram will also present the ESnet development modules and details on its OEM program for companies to develop their own EtherSound-based products.

Digigram will also show the NCX Suite, for TCP/IP remote management of multizone networked audio, and miXart 8 CN, a multichannel soundcard with CobraNet.
