Diversity Panel Slated in N.Y.

Diversity in radio is the topic June 11 in New York. The International Radio and Television Society Foundation will hold a panel discussion at the Masonic Hall’s American Room. Events run from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Questions on the agenda focus on the major factors that influence programming and advertising decisions with regards to particular ethnic groups.
Panelists lined up represent facets of the radio and ad industries that cater to minorities. Companies include Uniworld, Hispanic Broadcasting, Radio One, Kang & Lee, The Bravo Group, GM Mediaworks and Initiative Media.
Katz Media Group VP and Director of Corporate Diversity Brian Knox Sr. will serve as panel moderator.
