DK Buys Dag2000 Bargraph Firm

Metering manufacturer DK-Technologies is acquiring Dag2000, a Danish company that makes digital bargraph and stereo peak program meters for the broadcast market.
Dag2000 was founded four years ago after separating from its previous owners, NTP Electronics. Its products will be rebranded as DK products. Gerhard Hansen, who had been with NTP and Dag2000 for more than 30 years, also joined the company as a technician.
Karsten Hansen, DK’s CEO, stated that bargraphs are still popular in Europe, particularly Germany.
