Dodson Honored by Nebraska Group

The senior vice president of training for the RAB, Roger Dodson, will be inducted into the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame on Aug. 13 at a convention in Lincoln. Dodson is a native of the state who joined RAB in 1995. He conducts seminars and training programs and develops programs for the RAB Training curriculum.
“Dodson first became well known for his interest in sales training while working with the Stuart and Great Empire groups in the Midwest, and was president of a 10-station radio group operating in small and medium radio markets,” the RAB stated. “He also served as president of Long-Pride Broadcasting, the Wichita stations group he owned in partnership with country singer Charley Pride and Jim Long.”
Previous inductees include Gary Fries, Johnny Carson, Dick Cavett and Tom Brokaw.
