Double O Adds Eight Stations in New York State

Double O Radio Corp., which has four radio stations in Florida and two pending in South Carolina, now is buying the assets of BanJo Radio Group, consisting of eight stations in New York state.
The stations include WIYN(FM) in Deposit; WZOZ(FM), Oneonta; WKXZ(FM), WCHN(AM) and WBKT(FM), all in Norwich; WDLA(AM-FM) in Walton; and WDHI(AM) in Delhi.
Terry Bond is president and CEO of Double O, which targets medium and small markets. He said this was the company’s first group acquisition. James V. Johnson is president and co-owner of BanJo Radio.
