Effective Sept. 1, Danish microphone manufacturer DPA Microphones will be led by a new CEO. At that time, interim chief Thorsten Reuber will step down and Kalle Hvidt Nielsen will take over.
Reuber has managed the company since January of this year.
Nielsen’s resume includes stints with directly tech-focused companies in Denmark over the past 15 years. Most recently, he served as CEO at Topsil Semiconductor Materials A/S. Prior to 2011, he worked as CEO at Bang & Olufsen A/S and Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S, both of which are high-end audio companies.
“DPA sets the standard for professional-quality microphone solutions, and I am thrilled to lead the company as it continues to innovate in the audio industry,” said Nielsen.
