During IBC2013 the Digital Radio Mondiale Consortium will offer updates on DRM developments on Friday Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. and Saturday Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. in the European Broadcasting Union presentation theatre on the EBU stand.
DRM Consortium members Harris Broadcast and Nautel Ltd. will also be hosting DRM events during the show. Harris Broadcast is holding a “meet and greet” get-together at The Beach on Friday Sept. 13 and Nautel Ltd. is holding its traditional DRM traditional event on the afternoon Saturday Sept. 14. The gatherings will allow participants to see and hear the latest DRM and DRM+ technology in action and receive up-to-date information on market developments.
“DRM will have more events than ever at IBC,” said Ruxandra Obreja, DRM chairman. “It will showcase the technical and finer details of DRM benefits with its practical application and reception. Digital radio is here and we want to get the key players and the public convinced that DRM is indeed a very smart radio solution for them.”
