Digital Radio Mondiale will be promoted at a radio event in Paris next week.
Attendees of the conference in Paris will be able to hear live DRM broadcasts on DRM receivers. The technology is being marketed for use on shortwave, AM and long-wave. DRM’s European commercial launch will take place later this year.
DRM proponents say France is a key market for DRM because digital TV has begun and digital radio is expected soon.
