Dubai Does Dalet

Arabian Radio Network has deployed Dalet Radio Suite across its broadcast operations

Dubai-based Arabian Radio Network has adopted the Dalet Radio Suite.

Murad Jahangir, ARN’s IT manager said ARN was already a Dalet user on its radio channels; ARN use the DaletPlus Media Asset Management engine for broadcast as well as content production for Web and other media platforms.

Stephane Schlayen, CEO of Dalet SA, noted that ARN works with Web streaming, RDS and SMS data services. “With the multiplatform distribution platform and easy-to-use toolset of Dalet Radio Suite, ARN has a powerful end-to-end audio production and playout solution that extends beyond traditional broadcasting.”

ARN offers nine radio channels; it produces three Arabic-language channels, three English-language channels and three International channels, primarily Hindi. ARN is in Dubai Media City; it launched in 2001, ARN has gained a large loyal audience base in the Emirates and throughout the Gulf Region. Dalet said ARN is the first network in the region to use the Radio Data System (RDS) to provide breaking news information.
