The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has launched a multimedia extension of its existing program-sharing service.
The Euroradio Multimedia Exchange System (Euroradio MES) allows EBU members to share rights-cleared multimedia content for websites and visual radio services. Euroradio MES is designed to serve as a “one stop shop” for rich multimedia content to augment over-the-air audio reports. Contributors to the exchange include EBU members, U.N. Multimedia and other partner organizations, as well as trusted freelance journalists.
In addition to Euroradio MES, EBU Radio also offers the Euroradio News Exchange with audio clips from major events and the Eurosonic and Euroclassic concert databases.
