In 2002, RF tube rebuilder Econco announced it would begin building new transmitter tubes, concentrating at first on high-power triodes. This year, Econco is expanding its line to include a wider choice of power tubes, including 3CX10000A7, 4CX5000A and 4CX15000A units.
The company continues to rebuild power tubes for shortwave and commercial radio stations and provide radar tubes to the military.
