Eight California Licenses Expire

FCC says the broadcasters failed to file renewal applications by deadline

The FCC has canceled eight radio station licenses in California.

On Aug. 1, California radio stations were required to file applications for license renewal for terms expiring on Dec. 1. The FCC says these stations didn’t file their renewal applications by the deadline and their licenses have expired.

Of the eight stations, three are low-power FMs and one is a full-power FM.
