Eisen Takes Over Fox Sports Middays

WPEN extends with Sixers in Philly, Suns extend with KMVP

Rich Eisen is now the midday host for the Fox Sports Radio national lineup. The Rich Eisen Show is a co-production with DirecTV and originates from the DirecTV studios in Los Angeles.

The show airs from noon to 3 p.m. ET.

In Philadelphia, Greater Media’s WPEN(FM) has extended its deal with the 76ers. Besides games, the station will continue and develop additional support and promotional programming. Play-by-play announcer Tom McGinnis will continue his duties as he enters his second decade with the team.

In Phoenix, the Suns have extended their agreement with Bonneville International’s KMVP(FM). KMVP and its predecessors have aired Suns games for 39 consecutive seasons. In addition to an added postgame show their will be Suns-oriented programming added to sister station KTAR(FM).

Suns President Jason Rowley said, “For 39 years, our fans have known where to tune in to the ‘Voice of the Suns’ Al McCoy on game night, and we are thrilled to be continuing that for the foreseeable future.”
