Elenos Group has appointed Rich Redmond as its president and chief operating officer. Based in the U.S. at Broadcast Electronics, an Elenos-owned group, Redmond will be responsible for operations in the Americas.
According to an Elenos press release, Redmond has three decades of experience in the broadcast industry, ranging from station management to senior leadership roles for manufacturers Harris Broadcast and GatesAir. He also founded Strativa Advisors, a technology consultancy providing leadership for radio-targeted advertising and cloud-based transmission site monitoring solutions.
As part of this transition, Elenos’ Chief Sales Officer Perry Priestley will shift focus to his sales-related responsibilities. Priestly previously led sales in addition to overseeing some of Redmond’s responsibilities.
Elenos Group makes content management software and transmission products for radio and TV; other specialized markets include advanced physics, biomedicine and aerospace. The manufacturer supports broadcasters under the brands Elenos, Broadcast Electronics, Itelco and Pro Television. Leonardo Busi is founder and CEO.
