EMF Buys Several Ohio Stations From University

Deal includes four FM licenses and 10 translators

Educational Media Foundation is buying four Ohio FMs and 10 translators from Cedarville University.

Patrick Communications, representing the school, said the price is $2.3 million.

The stations are 30 kW station WCDR(FM) in Cedarville, which serves Dayton (Market 61); WOHC(FM), a 7 kW outlet in Chillicothe; WOHP(FM), a 1 kW station in Portsmouth; and WOCU, a construction permit in Sinking Springs. The three on-air stations play Christian programming.

The deal also involves 10 translators in Ohio and Indiana, including one in Columbus, Ohio, which is Arbitron Market 36.
