Emmis Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: EMMS) has named Deborah Esayian Vice President of Integrated Sales – a new position.
“This new position was created to further expand Emmis’ leadership in sales development and to help prepare our stations for a new world of integrated selling as we converge our stations with our websites through the Local Media Internet Venture,” Doyle Rose, President of Emmis Radio, said.
Esayian has served as the director of the Emmis-owned jobcityusa.com, a minority recruitment web site in the New York Tri-State area, since January of 2000. Prior to that, she served as General Sales Manager for WJBR-FM in Philadelphia from January 1998-January 2000 and as director and founder of Next Generation Radio, an independent marketing and sales company serving radio, from October 1993-February 1999.
