Emmis Names McKinnon Top Engineer

The head of TV engineering for Emmis Communications is adding radio to his duties.
Mike McKinnon, Emmis Communications’ Vice President of Television Engineering, has been named Vice President of Engineering for the entire Emmis group.
“Emmis’ recent growth in the number of properties we own requires a more comprehensive view of our engineering functions,” said Emmis Chairman/CEO Jeff Smulyan. “Mike has done an outstanding job with Emmis Television, and I am confident his success will continue as he begins to oversee our radio operations.”
McKinnon has been with Emmis since February 1999.
