Emmis is offering station engineers and other technical folks the chance to learn more about its NextRadio app now in development.
The FM mobile app will be included on certain models of Sprint smartphones later this year.
Emmis is planning an educational event Feb. 27 from 12:30–4 p.m. Eastern.
Attendance may be in-person at Emmis HQ in Indianapolis or via Webinar.
The event includes an overview of the Sprint deal, a demo of the NextRadio app, possible content/display options available for stations and an overview of the technical requirements and set-up process for TagStation.
While the event is free, Emmis would like technical personnel to sign-up ahead of time.
