Sometimes a touch of silver is a good thing.
ENCO Systems says it will hold a 25th anniversary celebration during the NAB Show in April.
The company was founded by MIT engineers Eugene Novacek and Judy Kane Novacek in 1983 in St. Louis. It is now headquartered in the greater Detroit area. Though originally involved in custom high-level fault-tolerant networked industrial process control applications, ENCO says its business activities now are centered on the global broadcast industry.
“Two-thirds of those stations who bought [our Digital Audio Delivery software] that first year are still using it today, 16 years later,” said Eugene Novacek. “Because of the phenomenal loyalty shown by DAD users over the years we wanted to have a party for them … and us, to celebrate our mutual success.”
DAD users who haven’t been contacted and would like to attend the event in Las Vegas should send an e-mail to sales@enco.com.
