Del Reynolds is the recipient of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation Carl Lee Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award.
He is corporate chief of engineering of Northern Star Broadcasting and serves as a consulting engineer for several other broadcast operations. He formed Reynolds Communications where he owned and ran nine stations, and joined Northern Star after selling his stations to the company in 1998.
Also honored with the Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award was Michael Doback, vice president, engineering broadcast division, E.W. Scripps Co. Doback has been with Scripps for 17 years. Prior, he served as director of engineering for WXYZ(TV) in Detroit.
The MAB Foundation announced recipients of its 2007 High School and College Station of the Year Award.
They include the High School Radio Station of the Year, Plymouth Canon Community Schools, WSDP; and College Radio Station of the Year, Michigan State University, WDBM(FM).
Paul Grzebik was presented with MAB’s second MAB Associate of the Year Award. Grzebik is regional sales manager of the eastern U.S. for Axcera (formerly ITS Corp.)
